Data Retention Policy
Jamborow should retain personal data only for as long as necessary. Suggested retention schedule:
Website enquiries: 24 months after last contact unless converted to customer or partner relationship.
Marketing consents: until withdrawal plus suppression record as needed.
Customer account records: duration of relationship plus 6 years unless longer required.
KYC/AML records: at least 5 years after relationship ends or transaction completes, subject to local law and partner requirements.
Transaction records: 6-7 years for tax, audit, accounting and regulatory purposes, or longer where required.
Complaints: 6 years after closure.
Security logs: 12-24 months unless needed for investigation.
Recruitment records: 12 months unless consent is given for longer retention.
Contracts and enterprise records: 6-12 years depending on limitation periods and contract type.
Retention periods should be validated by legal counsel for each jurisdiction and product.
